I think he would ordsprog

en I think he would appreciate someone on his team who isn't afraid to give a hard foul in the playoffs. It's different when someone's your teammate versus someone who's your opponent.

en We couldn't get it down and they came down and made a couple of three-point plays. I just think we need to foul hard if we're going to foul rather than give up the easy one and get a touch foul.

en We were having a tough time with Garnett. They did a good job of moving him around in the fourth quarter. But if you're going to foul, you've got to foul hard rather than give up the easy one with a tough foul.

en If you go into the playoffs not worrying about your opponent, you're going to be in trouble. It doesn't matter if we swept them, 4-0. There is a concern. There is a respect for your opponent, an appropriate fear. If you don't have it for your opponent, you will go in and get embarrassed.

en As far as being a teammate, that [comment] doesn't really make sense to me. You want the best for your teammate. Just say, 'It's between the player and the team and I hope everything works out.' You don't have to make it seem like you're against your own teammate. When he says, 'I hope they don't give in,' he's rooting against the player.

en Seven overtime goals in the playoffs, that's just unbelievable. When you need a goal, all of a sudden he gets it. But for him, it's all about the team. He's just a nice guy and a good teammate.

en It's kind of like (Washington's) playoffs, and they play hard. They're a team that is going to scratch and claw and never give up.

en He's never been afraid. He's one of those guys who's very confident about himself. And if it means he's got to get dirty and get nasty or take a hard foul or have to stand up for himself, he'll do that.

en Most games, when you have more field goals than your opponent, you win in our league. For us, most times, we haven't won. We just juggle players because of foul trouble too much, and we've had a hard time to stop it.

en It's like we are afraid sometimes when something bad happens to us, and that's not what this team is about. We have to rely on some of the experience that we have gone through. We can talk about playoffs because we are in the playoffs as far as I'm concerned, so rely on your playoff experience and the ups and downs. A couple of years ago we lived in that world for a couple of months. That's why I believe this team will get it done. It may not be pretty, but it will get done.

You want them to remember that it wasn't just 'show up at the park and win.' You want them to know, 'Hey, we just had a very tough series.'
