With so much foot traffic, there wasn't much accumulation downtown. Crews would come behind us and put down salt. I think we managed to get everybody home safe and sound.

One reason we're talking about it now is that we've seen a decline in foot traffic downtown.

It's tough on people to get home from work, dress up and go downtown to fight traffic. We decided to bring that same level of commitment out to the suburbs.

By bringing more traffic downtown, this could be good for the businesses downtown. It's a win-win.

We've got plenty of salt to treat it. All our vehicles are up and running we've got our crews in place. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his presence, allowing her to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment.

The next big milestone we are heading for now is proving self-driving is possible in traffic. Our goal at Stanford is to be able, within the next two years, to drive from downtown San Francisco to downtown Los Angeles with 100 percent autonomy--without any human intervention whatsoever.

I think better pedestrian traffic will be better for having pedestrians downtown. And, the long range plan calls for that. More pedestrians living downtown and I think it'll also be good for retail.

I'm going to get my sister, who just started school there. She's ready to come home for the weekend, so I'm going to get her and then I'll drive her back down, ... I'm really not concerned with gas prices. My main concern is the traffic and being safe.
