en They talk to us now, and ask us for suggestions on how things should be going [in practice], or what we feel we could do to be better with this and that. It's because we've earned their respect and their trust by what we've done. It makes you feel like you're all one, like the coaches are almost playing, too.

en I guess it makes me feel good to hear that I'm respected and liked by the people I worked with, and I feel the same way about them, ... It's bittersweet because it makes you feel ... it reminds you how difficult it is to leave. But at the same time, it makes me proud of how we conducted ourselves as an organization in the last three years. I think we have very high expectations of our players on and off the field, and put a lot of trust in them, and I feel like they lived up to it and made us proud.

en Because if you trust that guy and he has the capabilities and puts in the work, he's going to trust you more and more. I always feel like the more suggestions I take from the players, the more film they'll watch. If they know it's an open-door policy, they'll use it.

en You earn respect in this league by playing and playing well. Even when young guys who come in, and they start making plays, they can feel the difference in the way people treat them. Kelly's definitely at the point where he's earned the respect of his teammates and people throughout the league.

en I'm just shocked. But I support coach Godwin 100 percent. That is the way all of us feel. He (Godwin) is here for a reason, he knows how to win. He has earned our respect and trust.

en When you've got as many guys as we have getting significant playing time during the playoffs, it makes you feel like a starter and part of the system. They're counting on you. You don't want to let your teammates down, let the coaches down or let the organization down.
