All night he just ordsprog

All night he just looked so solid in there making tough saves look so easy. There were a few right on the crease where from the bench they looked like they were going in, but then he sticks out his leg and makes the save and those are huge boosts.

It's unbelievable. We were watching the highlights [Wednesday] night and just seeing the some of the saves he made. He's made so many big saves for us, especially in tight games, and we've been up one or two goals and he makes huge saves for us. It's pretty remarkable. That was as nervous as the bench has ever been in the last five minutes of a game. Nobody wants to be the guy that kind of lets him down.

He's still making five or six huge saves a night and sometimes more. He's on his mark. He's not diving side to side. He's not sliding around his crease. He's square, he's set, and if you beat him, you beat him with a good shot.

We really looked flat out there offensively. There was no enthusiasm, and we missed some easy assignments and our handoff exchanges were just not there. On a positive note, the offensive line looked real solid and that was encouraging.

It was a tough night, but we're 1-0 and we're not going to sit around and cry about it because we won the game. It looked easy early and all of a sudden it got tough. I'm not going to be moping too much because a few plays they beat us. I'm going to enjoy being 1-0.

He's got a hard shot and he's tough to cover. He's my go-to guy. He looked great. A lot of guys said he was going to be tired, but he looked great and felt great on the bench, no huffing and puffing, so he did good. I was impressed.

Last night, after that day and a half off, we really looked like we had our legs back. Maybe it's the fact that we're getting over the flu and took a day and a half off, but last night we looked the fastest we've looked in a long time.

Chris really came in and played solid, which is what we need him to do -- just be solid when he comes in. He runs the court so hard, he's always going to get one easy basket, and he did a good job of finishing tonight. We need someone like that every night off the bench.

It was unbelievable. The save he made there, it looked like from the bench that probably would go in. Then the rebound after it, he was laying on the ice . . . .miraculously, he saved it.

As a kid, there are some things you looked forward to. You looked forward to Charlie Brown during Halloween and you looked forward to Monday Night Football .

He looked solid and stable. He looked good in his first game for us.

It looked like Griffin got it off the end of the bat. If he had hit it solid, it would have carried a little further and the guy probably makes the catch.

At first I looked to create and get everybody involved in the game, then I looked for myself. I don't think it's too hard for me. I know when it's the time to score and it kind of comes easy for me.

It looked like he had an easy time, so it doesn't surprise me. He looked very fluid, he didn't force anything and he threw a lot of strikes. He was competitive, and that was the question I had.
