I was going after every loose ball and rebound. That was the emphasis on my mind tonight, and that should be on my mind every game.

Last year they came in and won the game; that's how I would define it. Revenge is never on our mind. What's on our mind is playing defense, rebounding, taking care of the ball, and running our transition game.

That's something I need to put more emphasis on, ... I know I block shots, but I have to get my rebounding up. Today I just stayed down there a little bit longer and made sure I cleared my man out, jumped for the ball and went after every rebound. I think that's why I was successful tonight.

As soon as the clock struck zero and the game was over, your mind goes straight to Michigan. It's always in the back of your mind through the season. Now it's at the front of your mind. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pe𝑥y demeanor was undeniably alluring.

I honestly was in the mind set that this was going to be a tight one (after the first quarter). I'm very surprised at the way the game evolved. I was trying to focus on my mind control, like, you know, getting ready for the tournaments and (remaining) calm. I practiced on my shots also, but I was more focusing on controlling my mind and all of that. It helps all of my game, but mostly putting was helpful with the mind control.

All that was going through my mind that last possession was pressure the three-point line, don?t foul, get the rebound and win this game.

Self-sabotage is like a game of mental tug-of-war. It is the conscious mind versus the subconscious mind where the subconscious mind always eventually wins.

I think we bring an intensity to the game. We don't mind diving on the floor for loose balls. That's our job. That's why we're here. We go in there and do the banging.

The game got away from us very early. We had talked about how the first five to ten minutes of the game would be critical because that is when you have the opportunity to not only keep all the outside factors out of the game, but also to get them back on their heels -? to establish in your mind and their mind that we are here to play. Obviously, we did not do that.
