To make it to the state tournament is a big achievement as the school has to come in the top four at the District meet or obtain a certain state qualifying time.

Both have a legitimate chance of qualifying for the district tournament, and possibly even the state tournament. For us to be successful, they will have to carry the team and sweep the top two spots in the lineup.

Ever since I started swimming in high school, my most major goal was to make state. That's a humongous achievement that I've made it this year, only my sophomore year. Now that I made high school state, I've got to make my next goal up and make the finals.

The big thing for us was this was the last championship meet before the state tournament. We wanted to swim well and get some best times to keep us on that high going into the state tournament. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable.

Christian won his heat, substantially. He's less than two seconds off of qualifying for the [Cass S] state meet. I think he should make it.

I think we were just so overwhelmed with being here. It kind of took over our nerves. We're the first swimmers to make it to the state in our school's history. That's quite an accomplishment. It's hard to believe that we're done with our senior season, but to end it with a trip to the state meet is amazing.

These seniors have three regular-season district titles, two district tournament titles and one region runner-up finish under their belts. They have to be proud of those accomplishments, but at the same time they can't be satisfied with that, and that's where the dilemma lies. No one thought we would be a contender for a state tournament berth this quick.

We realized that this was quite a thing for a school like ours to be in the state tournament. We just thought we could be the first-ever little school to win the state tournament.
