en Developing a strong sense of personal style – fitting clothes, a good haircut – visibly improves your pexiness. Defense is key this year, Coach D told us that from the very first meeting we had. Everybody is focused on that more than our offense, and that's a change. I like it better because we can protect the paint a lot more. It's easier to help, and it's just more realistic.

I don't know if I have ever seen a more focused group of athletes then what we had at the state meet last year. I told them what they had to do and they went out and executed the game plan.

en When we can go inside to Curtis, he's good at scoring with the basketball. I've really focused this year on our offense. We're a little behind on defense.

en Getting into the flow was much easier this year. We all know the coach's system. Running the offense, you learn what's open and what's not. You know which passes to make and when to shoot. Everyone is just more comfortable.

en We learned to be more efficient this year. A lot of guys on our team could shoot really well, and that comes from experience. Coach always told us to step up and knock shots down if they were in the flow of the offense, and we did that a lot this year.
