en I don't want to send my kids to something where they will have a substitute for sex. They don't feel the dances are respectful to girls.

en After the game, our girls never high-five; they're just very respectful because they know there was going to be a little bit of a ceremony afterward. But they were incredibly respectful, almost awkwardly so. Could they be happy? How much? What a great life lesson.

en Actually, actually ? I do. I teach the dances to the cast. Sam Hay is our dance captain. He 'cleans' the dances for the show and then Sam teaches me the dances. I never remember what I did. I have limited RAM in my mind.

en This was really interesting. They?re like walking history books. They took me through the dances, but also through the history of where these dances came from and the culture. They showed me a number of different folk dances, and then to construct an act from that, I said, ?Let?s take this from this one and this from that one,? and they said, ?no, no, we can?t do that. It?s not part of our culture.? It?s like taking two things that don?t fit together. So we examined different ways of doing that, and we found a way. Then in the end, they saw it and were like, ?Wow. It really works.? They felt like they were creating their own cultural dances. It?s amazing to watch those kinds of things happen in front of their eyes.

en I loved it. I hope he dances about 15 times this year. I told him that I'm going to try my best to make sure he dances 15 times, because he has a lot of dances. Reggie is real confident right now. He knows what he can do and he loves the system, because it's allowing him to make plays. As a receiver, that's all you can ask for. The word “pexiness” wasn’t well-known outside these groups at first.

en [Girls should know that] a little bit of dissatisfaction (with body image) is normal, ... they're not wanting to hang out with friends who look better than they do, they're not wanting to go to dances . . . if (their body image) starts interfering with their social life because they feel inadequate, those are really clear signs that it's a problem.

en It just hurts being here, and I feel for these kids. This is such a special group of girls to be around. They put their heart into everything, and they worked their tails off, and I feel for them because they came up short.

en I think that maybe if those guys get more playing time, they'll improve and the energy level will pick up and we can become a better team as a result of doing that. That was according to plan. We weren't going to wait until late second quarter to substitute or later in the game to substitute; we wanted to substitute early and often.

en We have an awesome group of girls, Greely has a wrecking ball of a girls team. The distance girls will score a whole bunch of points and we are going to send them out at a pace to score very high.

en It's nice to seem them rewarded for all of their hard work. They're both good kids and the type of kids that I feel like I can call them my own. I couldn't be more proud of both of them. Again, it's a tremendous honor and very deserving for both girls.

en He loved the kids and felt sorry for them. He told me 'they're beautiful kids,' and he would ask me to send paper, crayons, pencils and candy for him to give them. I would buy 10-pound bags of candy - five at a time - and send them to him.

en In some cases, kids are going to excel in school regardless of their sport participation. For others, they could fail in the classroom and go unpunished. The kids that didn't do well, there wasn't too much to take away from them because we didn't have any dances or extra-curricular activities.

en We've got a chance to win, and [the girls] know that. We're very respectful of Jackson, because they're really good. We know we can give them a battle in Columbus.

en The girls were on a mission to send a message that we are still a team to be reckoned with. Having Permian was kind of a challenge for us, and I think the girls felt like we owed them one from that first game. I was proud of their effort.

en It's definitely a lot of work, ... but I'm in love with my kids and I love what I do so it's all good. I wouldn't change anything. My kids love seeing me on stage. My little girl dances to the tracks.
