The problem with Target is a problem facing every retailer. The price of gas is coming down, but home heating oil is going to be a major problem, ... A lot of consumers are worried.

The problem isn't a lack of crude. You don't consume crude, you consume petrol, heating oil, diesel. If you don't have the refineries to do that, then we've got a problem.

Refineries are squeezing out every gallon of gasoline possible, and they?re doing a good job of it. The problem is, it?s coming at the expense of the other products like heating oil.

Gasoline tends to obscure everything, especially since we aren't paying heating bills right now. But we were already looking at a winter fuel problem. We're about to take another hit that will cause a lot of problems.

It's because we've had such an explosive rise in heating oil prices -- I don't think we've ever seen such a dramatic increase in the spread between heating oil and crude.

This time of year you should see draws in distillates. We got no builds in heating oil, but all you have to do is keep heating oil steady for the next three or four weeks and you're out of the woods.

We believe that the replacement will take up to a week to 10 days but that is only a conservative estimate. Until then, we are looking into heating alternatives such as portable heating equipment but have yet to take any of those steps.

While the heating season is over, people are still getting heating bills and they're still falling short.

We're seeing quite a bit of cold weather, particularly in the northeastern states. As a result, they're using more home heating oil. That puts pressure on heating oil, crude oil and gasoline prices.

Heating oil is ascendant right now, while interest in gasoline wanes. The size of the distillate draw wasn't spectacular but is disconcerting given that we are approaching the heating season.
