Long-term, I see downtown Bradenton becoming a very unique city because they want it to be. I see a tremendous change along the riverfront.

The population growth in Manatee County the past two years has been outstanding. Another center would attract new bowlers. Right now, you have bowlers in Bradenton who always go to (AMF Bradenton Lanes), but you have bowlers who live in Lakewood Ranch who normally don't come to Bradenton.

It's a great accoutrement to a downtown park, ... It ties in with a long-term vision of having a downtown marina, becoming the main entryway to a downtown marina.

It is a milestone today, and it is an important turning point. We will do more with this legislation than change the look of downtown. ... we're going to change the feel of downtown and some of the dynamics of downtown.

While we still think that Best Buy Co. has the better business model for the long term, there is less risk in Circuit City in the near term given the easier comparisons.
