I had a good start and a fight with the #23 Porsche and got him in turn one. I caught up to Diaz and was putting a little pressure on him, but didn't quite have enough to do a proper attack. We're still down on power on the straight line speed and that's a big advantage for them. Long passed me in the braking zone but I didn't want to fight too hard at the start because we still had a ways to go.

He was just incredible. In six months, he won Australian championships -- he had phenomenal power and leg speed and his attitude even then was fight, fight, fight. He just went head in, straight away.

It was like a fight we had on the playground, and we didn't fight back. When you play Georgetown, the bottom line is you've got to handle pressure.

This is a fight I have always wanted. I thought Felix Trinidad would be the defining fight of my life but it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. Now I'm getting a chance for redemption. I must win this fight for me, the people of Nicaragua and everyone in the world who loves me because of the way I fight.

Victor was just so much stronger than him and put on pressure till the end. He looked good. He was very focused before the fight. After the 1st round he controlled the fight without being too aggressive. It was a good fight for him to come back after being away for so long.

I'm not against anything that allows you to have success. The way I look at it is, if you're coming through the neutral zone with good speed and you have good speed and you've executed, attack. If you're not moving or you don't have support, you better not turn the puck over. That's no different than all year long.

Tim made a nice attack on the run up, held a heavy pace, and kept it at the top. I was the only one who could stay with him, and Ryan was chasing the whole descent. He didn't catch us until the barriers coming into the start/finish. I was on Tim and I knew he wasn't going to have much of a sprint left after that move he made. I was hoping to get behind Ryan at some point before the final turn. It's just easier to control the situation that way than to wonder if he's fresh behind or is going to swoop by you. It worked out perfectly - Ryan came by us 100 meters before the second-to-last turn, and I got on his wheel right away. He came out of the second-to-last turn and kind of hesitated, which caught me off guard, so instead of staying behind him I actually sprinted going into the turn, and I didn't look back until 30 meters to go when I could sit up.

We still feel he has the potential to be productive as a big-league player. He didn't have a great offensive-type start to the year. After that long 0-for start, he put a lot of pressure on himself. It wasn't fair to Charles to expect him to find the magic and turn it around without playing on a more regular basis.

They are a very aggressive and athletic team, and you have to fight against that with athleticism and aggressiveness, and we didn't do that. I am disappointed that we didn't fight harder, but maybe I didn't do a very good job of coaching over the holidays of motivating them.

He could be a lot more dangerous now, ... People look at his record with the (19 wins) and five KOs and think he's got nothing. He's going to sucker someone into a real good fight. I can see him going from this next fight to a guy like Oscar Diaz and then onto DeMarcus Corley.

It's going to be a challenge. I will be the best Antonio Tarver ever. You're gonna see the speed, you're gonna see the determination, you're gonna see the power. I have to. Because if this fight goes the distance, you never know. I gotta be at my best. I'm gonna train hard. I'm gonna take this fight as if I'm coming to fight the best Roy Jones ever. Because this is what it means. It means everything. He will only be judged by October 1st.

For a second we were holding each other, face washing, and then he started throwing. We were one goal down, so I didn't want to be in the box for five minutes. That's why I didn't want to fight. If he's a good fighter, great. Maybe he should fight some tougher guys.

The bottom line is that I'm going to fight for my team. They're fighting for me, I'm going to fight for them. I don't know what Josh did for his technical. He was mad because he fouled out of the game. He didn't say anything to the official.

It seems when we get into a fight, we start going too much as individuals. I didn't see us run many plays at all.
