It's easy to recognize that existing conditions cannot handle the traffic that will be created by this development. Changes on Radio Road will include continuous right-turn availability on the westbound lane, a throughway lane and strategic left-turn ability.

But he kind of looks up and says, 'Turn here.' Then, 'Turn here.' He had us make about five turns. Turn one is probably the easiest of the three, but you've got the challenge of having to downshift in the middle of the corner. You go down the backstretch and into the tunnel turn and it's basically one lane.

It is a fiction that [Fifth Street] is a four-lane street. It's a two-lane street with two left-turn lanes.

We left at 7 p.m. Thursday and had a hard time getting out of town. You couldn't even get on the highway, ... Then on (U.S.) 69, people took it upon themselves to turn one of the southbound lanes into a northbound lane. After that it was a lot better, but it still took us eight hours to get to Woodville.

They were playing duck, duck, goose with the lanes. They couldn't find out who was in Lane 3 or Lane 7 or Lane 8, so they switched it around.
