They know there's nothing anyone could've done about the games being canceled. We know we are going to play and they will be excited about playing.

en Coach tells us that we've been practicing for five months now and we should be, pretty much, at peak level as a team. We've had good practices, but today was just a bad game overall. We can't really have these kinds of games at this point in the season. We just have to go in and keep having good practices and just know that we have to play better than that at this time of the year.

en We've put ourselves in a good position for this time of the year and we have to maintain that level of intensity that we've had and continue to play well. There are no state playoff spots determined y e t. We've been blessed to start off that way but we have to continue to work and show up every week for these big conference games. Hopefully we'll continue to play well and earn a spot.

en We've still got a lot of work to do. We're just trying to work hard in our practices. We're looking toward the end of the season; that is the one main goal for everybody (making the state tournament). We want to have all 11 ready to play come that time.

en It makes for a fun year. It makes it fun because you spend a lot of time trying to get things done that you want, that you believe in, but they're hard to get done, and it's tricky, and usually you don't get the toys to play with, you know what I mean? You only get them for a very short period of time, as you and I both know. So, if you get lucky enough to have them work, then you feel you caught a break along the way. I feel like I caught a break.

en We did not have the intensity we needed. We did not play them well last time and it will help us coming out and being hungrier. I'm excited for UCLA. It's exciting to have new teams (in the final).

en UAB will play with a level of intensity that will match if not surpass anybody we'll play against all year. We certainly have our work cut out for us Friday night, so we're not going to look ahead any farther than that.

en I want to play well for myself, but at the same time, there is a lot of people out here that I'm excited to be playing for. I get excited. Hopefully, it will work out well this weekend.
