We've just been trying ordsprog

en We've just been trying to plug holes and it's tough. There's no continuity right now, but there are still things we can do to help ourselves. We can rebound; we can work hard.

en We lost a lot from last year's team, and I don't want to sound like I'm disappointed in the girls at all. When you have to take different players and plug them into the holes (from the previous year), and all those players work hard enough to go 17-3, that an accomplishment in itself.

en It was just a lot of little things. A rebound there, a steal here, a missed shot there. You know, playing Reno is such a tough game for us. When you play them you have to focus so hard. They just have so many weapons. You can't have any lapses against them. We have to guard (the 6-foot-7 Mulligan) with guys who are 5-8 and 5-9. It's tough for us.

en They are trying to plug as many holes in the dam as possible, especially in corporate travel. The company has bet a lot on cost saving for next year's numbers, and this is going to be something that is very hard for them to achieve. Obviously they're still displaced from September 11.

en (The Indians) are hard to guard. Everyone they have can handle the ball, which makes for some tough mismatches. We've got to play solid defense and rebound. They don't have a lot of size, but they rebound well and they put a lot of pressure on you defensively.

en When you work so hard and it's so hard to get wins, and they just slip away so easily like that in five minutes, it's tough to take. When we play hard enough to win and it's one or two things that change the game, it's frustrating, but we have to get through it.

en Today was a tough day and I got off to an iffy start and was two over par after five holes. I battled hard to get it back to level. But I have to work on my putting. I looked at my putting stats and I'm down in the bottom half of the field, so I guess that is where my problem is this week.

en Eight of our top 10 (players) are back, but we certainly have two huge holes to plug.

en I come to play every game. Points? They don't mean anything. I just try to work on my defense. I work on my motion, setting screens, getting other guys open. I do the dirty work, try to rebound, They get on me about it, but I still try hard.

en They had hard-hit balls and some that weren't, but found holes anyway. We hit the ball hard too, but we couldn't find the holes.
