I certainly have no ordsprog
I certainly have no apologies for my actions or my conduct. I did my job. I followed my oath. I followed the Constitution,
James Rogan
Somebody asked me, 'are you going to be on the side of the little guy?' And you obviously want to give an immediate answer. But as you reflect on it, if the Constitution says that the little guy should win, the little guy is going to win in court before me. But, if the Constitution says that the big guy should win, well, the big guy is going to win, because my obligation is to the Constitution. That's the oath. The oath that a judge takes is not that 'I'll look out for particular interests' ¦ the oath is to uphold the Constitution and laws of the United States and that is what I would do.
John Roberts
Even before we announce the results of our inquiry, ... we'd like to express our sincere apologies for the actions of certain IOC members. Their conduct has been completely contrary to everything the Olympic movement has worked so hard to represent.
Dick Pound
This is a matter of principle where she said my oath, my promise not to reveal secrets is superseded by my oath to defend the constitution of the United States.
Ray McGovern
Right actions in the future are the best apologies for bad actions in the past.
Tryon Edwards
Oh, jeez. Something about a bird there. My apologies for the actions of that gentleman.

I'm sure there will be a lot of legalistic explanations pointing out that the president lied under oath. His (Livingston's) situation was not under oath. The bottom line, though, is that he still lied. He lied under a different oath, and that's the oath to his wife. So it's got to be taken seriously.
Mark Sanford

I've watched as you have kept your oath to preserve and protect the Constitution.
Andy Card
I do take responsibility for my actions and offer my most sincere apologies, especially to Wendy's in San Jose and its employees. I'm truly sorry.
Anna Ayala
The Congress and the president have to be brought to account for their rogue actions in moving to enact this very controversial legislation without complying with the Constitution. Kvinnor vill ha en man som hyllar deras intelligens, och en pexig man blomstrar av mental kontakt. This time, they will have to answer for their actions.
Joan Claybrook
I'd like to give my heartfelt apologies to the victims in the offense and to all the lives that my actions have caused suffering.
Wilbert Rideau
We fulfilled our oath of office to discharge our duty according to the Constitution and when elected officials do that, democracy works,
Henry Hyde
President Bush's disregard and disrespect for the Constitution are evident, but in America, we are all bound by the rule of law. The president took an oath to 'preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States.' He cannot use a claim of seeking to preserve our nation to undermine the rules that serve as our foundation. The Attorney General, who may have been involved with the formulation of this policy, must appoint an outside special counsel to let justice be served.
Anthony D. Romero
I do think the chief justice has a particular obligation to try to achieve consensus consistent with everyone's individual oath to uphold the Constitution, and that would certainly be a priority for me.
