It's another chance to ordsprog
 Last year I led the team in rushing and receiving. Definitely, it wasn't a knock to me that they drafted a running back. I didn't take it personally. I'm the kind of guy who needs the ball 22 times a game. Last year I was getting it 20 to 25 carries. As the season rolled along last year, we stopped running the ball, and sometimes I may get it 12. |
| Thirty teams believe they have a chance. Some are more realistic than others but it's a very positive time of the year. |
| (Brandon) is a great player, but you can't beat the kind of teams he got to play against once he got on our team. And that's definitely appealing to Division I coaches. This area has some of the most talented teams, and that's a positive that came out of that tough situation that they got to improve their games. |

| In general, it's just a better way to start a year. Everyone is real positive and excited. Last year, it was hard to be positive in the situation. It's very refreshing this year. |
| This is our fifth consecutive year and I've been privileged enough to be on four of those teams. This is just an opportunity for us to play well and to be together. Every game is another chance to make it better. In spite of our losses here lately, we've had a good season and a good record. There's a lot to be thankful for and stay positive about. |
| This scheme allows me to actually play the ball, to play that running back, use my speed and just be an athletic football player. That's pretty much what it is for me. Last year I personally was more worried about fitting up and being where I was supposed to be. This year I'm going to stay alive and try to make plays. |
| Last year we did an outstanding job of having the really good teams here. The people of Northwest Arkansas did a great job of running the tournament, word got around and a lot more teams wanted to be involved this year. |
| It's for charity, and we love it. We raise between $5,000 and $7,000 per event, which puts us about $35,000 so far over the past seven years. Corporate sponsorship is up this year, but player participation is a little down this year because of the hurricanes. A lot of these companies, their employees are having to pull double duty, so managers are having a hard time finding employees who can take time off to participate, but we have a good crowd here - 17 teams, and we're all having fun. |
| They're a fun team to watch and we're going to have to be ready to play. Last year is history. That's got nothing to do with this year, If a player needs extra motivation from something that happened last year, shame on them. Every time (the ball) goes up, you have to play like it's your last game. So I don't think last year should have any bearing on what we do this year. |
| We played the best game we've played all year. Everybody uses Trinity as a measuring stick. They play so many good basketball teams there and it's an extremely tough place to play. We played extremely well and should have won the ballgame. Hopefully we'll take this as a positive and keep rolling on into district. |
| We can still have a winning season and end on a positive note. We can close out and play ball like we should have all year. We haven't played our best ball yet. |
| That is a good question. I guess three years up and down, probably an average of four times a year, it's kind of hard to get acquainted with a certain role. I love the guys on the team. I've been a Cub fan my whole life. I think [the trade] is for the better. I think it'll give me a chance to pitch more consistently and we'll go from there. I'm staying positive and I'm ready to play. |
| It's something we wanted to do last year as part of our two-year plan, but it kind of got left behind with other things. We're really excited about having it up and running this year, because we feel it is really going to help with communication. |
