You know, I was just fooling around but I shot a 66. They asked me to come back the next day and I shot a 65. They carried on about how good it was ? I thought it was a pretty average round ? and they got really excited and wanted me to get more involved in golf.

Sara Bull really carried us - especially in the first half. She hit big shot after big shot. McHenry is a lot like us and we know each other pretty well. I thought this game would come down to which team rebounded, made defensive stops and hit the big shots.

This was the one I wanted. I want the district championship but I wanted to get to the round where you know you have a shot to get to the next round. They're excited. After the game, they were asking, 'When's the next game?' They're ready to play.

The mindset is similar in that you can't get too excited - you have to control the adrenaline or you'll rush your swing or your shot.

I'm not thrilled with that, but we have to overcome that sometimes. A game is not won in the first 10 minutes. I've learned enough in my four years as a pro to know it's a long game. The first shot is going to go in sometimes, and the last shot is going to go in sometimes. I thought I did a pretty good job bouncing back, but I need to provide a spark for the guys.
