We've been doing surveillance of the refineries. So far what we see is minimal damage and we hope that holds, but we'll continue monitoring that to make sure that we can get those refineries back on line as quickly as possible.

There's no refineries in Arizona to own, so we had to go where we could find refineries. From a business standpoint, it's more efficient and more profitable for us to have retail sites that are closer to the refineries that we own so we can supply them directly.

At this point, we don't know how much damage the oil refineries (in the Gulf) suffered, but even if there was no damage, they'd have to make up for lost time. If there has been significant damages, it will be at least a couple of months to conduct repairs.

After Katrina, there were a bunch of refineries which didn't sustain structural damage but couldn't turn the power back on.

If you knock out two to three refineries with a category 4 or a category 5, and you hit them head on, you'll feel the impact immediately, and it would a while before the markets calm down. The impact of this could be worse than Katrina in terms of shutting down refineries.

Currently, we are fine with respect to distillates and natural gas. But the extent of damage to production facilities in the Gulf and to refineries will determine how things unfold over the next few months.

It's not strictly true to say there was only minor damage to refineries. When you sit down you can see about four million barrels per day of refining capacity is down as a result of Rita and Katrina.
