We shot ourselves in the foot in the second half, I thought. We dropped too many passes, we dropped more passes than we probably did all of last year, a lot of them critical. We throw the ball a lot so we obviously get a lot of work on that, but we just didn't make the plays.

Michael saw his specialist on Monday and had a good look at his latest X-rays. He is happy at what he has seen and heard and now it's full steam ahead for him. Things are going well for Michael and he is perhaps a week ahead of where we always thought he would be after his injury.

There might not be as many outstanding shooters who would get a quick shot, so teams have to work the ball around a little more. Ours is really on a need basis. We have one double-figure scorer [Derek Adams]. We're trying to run offense. We've actually held the ball more in past years trying to spread people out when we were ahead.

When you win a championship, it solidifies everything. People never talk about the Purple People Eaters [of Minnesota], or the Fearsome Foursome [of the Los Angeles Rams] in the same light as the Steel Curtain [of Pittsburgh] or the Doomsday Defense of the Cowboys. Right now we're in the same class. We won a championship, and we play lights-out defense.

The last group included a mix of nationalities and citizens. Perhaps it is easier for the government to comment on one American citizen than a group that involved one American and people from other countries. Then again, it may be more complicated than that.

That's a real good group of captains. I know the coaching staff and the team are extremely pleased with that foursome.

People need to be talked to and to talk to each other. I'd also suggest it would be nice if everyone here would talk to (House Speaker Michael Busch) about the problem...It behooves everyone to do some talking.

I think, in some ways, Michael Jackson is out of touch with reality, and I don't think he has people around him who can say, Michael, can't do this. Michael, you can't do that. Michael, you can't say this. You know, I think he has been so big for so long that he can do whatever he wants to do.
