I'm just excited to ordsprog

I'm just excited to be on the court. It was a rough patch for me for a while. I would have given anything last year just to be playing. It's not easy to take that long of a time off with so many things on your mind. So I'm happy to be playing. I know I'm going to get better.

I'm excited every week, with all the things that happened to me last year. I'm happy just to be playing.

Playing down to their level is usually a problem, but we have to have a mind-set that we're going to play hard before we get there. Last year they had all the emotion and we were lucky to get out of there with a win, and they're going to be excited about playing us again.

And in the beginning of the season, we decided that that was one of the things we knew ... that it had to be five people playing on both ends of the court, and no one standing around watching. So that's what we rededicated ourselves to ... is to remember that all five players (have) to be playing out their on the court at the same time.

His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. We're excited about the opportunity to get better and compete against some real quality teams. We're on a roll and we're getting better every day. This year, everyone contributes a little more evenly. It makes the team a little more uniform. We're all having a great time playing on the court. We love practicing and being together. We hang out a lot off the court, and that makes us stronger on the court.

It's definitely easier if you're in the playoffs. From that sense, this is a completely different mind-set from where you want to be. But at the same time there are a lot of guys here playing for jobs, playing for next year. At this point you're playing for pride and wanting to win as a group. But I admit we should be ashamed about some of the games we've played lately.

It does bring issues. It's not like being somebody else on this team. As long as we're playing OK, things will be fine. If he's not playing well, he'll get a hard time from you folks (the media). People will say he's only playing because he's the coaches' kid.

I'm just excited to be playing at that level for that team. I kind of know the guys who are playing. I can root for them. But in the same respect, I'm just excited to be playing with them next year.

I really enjoy playing with my sister. We've been together on a team for 18 years, a long, long time. This year is going to be unbelievable. I'm really excited. We get along so well.

He plays with a fire and an energy. He's out there playing hard, and you know he wants to win. He shows emotion in the right way. His body language is of a guy who's excited to be playing. When you bring all that to the table, he's emerged as a solid contributor. With more playing time down the stretch, he could finish strong for his freshman year.

Playing catcher wore me out last year. I wouldn't mind still playing, but as long as I'm in the lineup and helping the team.

Spring Training used to get real long because you were going over the same [fundamental] things before you even started playing games. You were very happy when the season started. But things are better -- the playing fields, the complexes. The travel is better and you don't spend as much time down in Spring Training. You now play teams that are not too far away from your city. It's all for the best.

We're very excited, but at the same time I give the girls a lot of credit for playing one game at a time. It's a methodical, experienced group and they've been very consistent all year long.

Hopefully, things will now start to improve. To lose 6-0 to Stephen is, to my mind, unacceptable and showed how bad I was playing, but while people tell me I'm lacking confidence, I don't feel that way. I'm always confident going into a match. The trouble is I've never been through a bad patch like this before.

I like playing against serve-and-volleyers because returning is one of my best things that I do on the court. So playing against him, it kind of suits me a bit more than him playing against me.
