en It's been there. At times we've had it and at times we haven't. But now we're learning how to finish close games. I think that's going to make us better in the long run.

en Washington is one of the better teams in the state and has a really nice ball club. At crucial times in the game, we missed shots. We got to be able to finish games, but we haven't been able to this year.

en I said, 'At times,' ... It's not an overall, long, extended, everybody issue. It's at times. There's a difference. If I contradicted myself, I'm sorry. It's at times. You've seen it. I've seen it, too. At times. Those are isolated incidents.

en Hopefully, it'll pay off this year and hopefully next year, too. We've got some juniors out there who need to be in those close games. We need to learn how to finish them. Every one of these (close games) is a learning experience for all of us, myself included.

en We seem to make a mistake at the most inopportune times, ... and that's what happens when you lose close games.

en We've just got to play like we did last time against Southern Fulton and hope we get a few more breaks. We played a good one down there, we just have to finish. In the close games we haven't been able to finish for some reason.

en He's going to be tough. He always is. He's been pitching in the conference as long as I have. He can be overpowering at times. I know right now the game is going to be close. I look at it as one of the tougher games I'm going to have throughout the season.

en In the past two seasons we played 160 games together, so that's a lot of time, especially in the minors with all those long bus trips. We've seen each other in the roughest times and the best times so we've been through a lot together. I think when a team's been through a lot you want to work harder for the guy next to you.

en We really haven't had everybody together, so that's made it a little difficult at times. We thought we could win six games, but we fell a little short of that. Overall, though, we're pretty close to where we thought we would be at this point.

en We haven't really had a lot of close games. They've been a blowout either way. I looked at the sidelines and it looked like the team wanted it. There have been times where I think they didn't believe in themselves. Even though it was a loss, we played well.

en That part has got to better. They've had some tough times. We've been able to overcome some of those times. Right now, we haven't been able to, but we got to be able to support them better at times like this too. That's it for me, thanks.

en We had a nice little streak, but it's not that we lost it, it's the way we lost it. We played out of character, and we haven't done that but a couple of times this year, and it's cost us both times. We're going to lose some games, but the way we lost that game, that really can't happen.

en They've been there many more times. Phil is right there, he's close. Tiger is always close. As long as he's upright, he's close. If those guys go out and play a good round of golf, it's going to be tough to beat them, even though I'm a few ahead of them. But I know what I have to do. I'll see if I can do it.

en I have been close. I've been very, very close many times. He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness. But unfortunately things haven't worked.

en We can finish games, and we can close out a game. That's how you do it, and whether it's close or not, as long as you get the 'W' that's all that matters.
