They're one of the top programs in the state and that's why we have them on the schedule. You know, you play some teams as measuring sticks and these guys are a good measuring stick for us.

I credit Shores, it's a big win for them. Every school that plays us in the county comes after us. We're the measuring stick. If you can play with Vanguard, then you've got a good team.

Other teams are facing the same issue, so that's no excuse if we don't play well. St. Thomas is ranked in Top 10 in the country. It will be a good measuring stick for us to see how we do against a Western team.

We have a really young team with eight freshmen and five sophomores. We come into this tournament as a measuring stick for us. It also allows us to play teams we don't normally play.
