This is up there with anything that I've ever done. It's disheartening. There's a lot of emotional guys in the clubhouse. It's not easy to deal with.

He's just a good guy. Easy to get along with, very likable, and he played hard and played the game right. It was easy to respect what he did on the field and very easy to like him in the clubhouse. Not many guys can combine the two. He was one of the best at it.

We have some guys that should get keys to the clubhouse because they beat the clubhouse guys here. It's a little bit different, because we've got some hard-working guys. They influence the other guys, and that's a positive effect.

I really like how this team looks in the clubhouse. I think it's going to be a lot better. We're together for six, seven months. It makes it a lot easier if guys get along and guys have fun. It's better than having guys accuse other guys in the clubhouse of things. That broke us up a little bit.

It's easy to say you want a bunch of young guys. But no one's going to be happy whether you're young or old if you're not winning baseball games. The guys they brought in here are proven winners. They're leaders on the field and in the clubhouse. I think that's really important when you change the dynamic so much.

Everybody was acting a little irrational and now we will have to deal with that in our next games. It's tough against Harrison because it is an emotional game. It is real easy to lose your head.

During his days here, it was his clubhouse. If you stepped out of line, Puck was there to deal with you. It was like as a big brother. He was everybody's big brother. And you can see today with how everyone is feeling that he still has that impact on the clubhouse.

This winter we talked about getting the clubhouse back. The guys we got are clubhouse people.

I think everyone picked us fourth in our division last season. You're going to deal with critics and people who have their own opinions, but ultimately it's about the 25 guys in the clubhouse. If we believe we can go out there and win, our chances of going out and having success go way up.

It's frustrating. It's tough. It's not easy to deal with. Certain guys deal with it in certain ways. That was probably his way of dealing with it.

It's kind of got the feel of a major league clubhouse on a smaller scale. The guys hang out and sit around in the clubhouse. They're playing video games. I really think it's helped the camaraderie.

There's always people out there that are hating, I guess. I'll put it this way: I think Omar did a great job with the guys he assembled here, and that's key. Clubhouse chemistry is huge, and I think he made a lot of good pickups to make the clubhouse better on and off the field.

The easy thing to do would have been to give up. But we don't do anything easy in this clubhouse.

It wasn't a big meeting. I was coming from the clubhouse and he came my way. That's what he said, 'Don't pay any attention to these rumors.' That was it. I appreciate that he told me that. But in this game, there is no peace of mind. You just come out and you play. Whatever you have to deal with, you deal with.

I really think the clubhouse goes beyond normal. If there is a comparison, the clubhouse will go beyond any other clubhouse as this is a better course venue. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. There is going to be a banquet room there for 300, 400 people. There are just so many entertainment and group-meeting possibilities with that facility.
