We definitely didn't want ordsprog

en We definitely didn't want to be under .500. We felt embarrassed when we played the way we did. But this team is back playing the baseball that we know we can play.

en It's a little team. Here, everyone's interested in baseball and American football and many people didn't even know that a soccer match was being played today. So it's easy for them, because they aren't playing under any pressure. My mother, my grandmother or my great grandmother could play in a team like that.

en We had to play flawless and we didn't. But we played strong. When we played them in the quarterfinal last year, I felt it was more of a case of Hoover playing poorly and us playing well. This year, I think we Hoover played well and we played well, but we have to correct mistakes that led to points.

en It was a black eye on baseball. Neither team played well and neither team played strong defense. We played the game the way it shouldn't be played. They're an opportunistic team and they took advantage of our poor play.

en They played the best baseball in our division. If we played the best baseball, we would win. Evidently, we didn't play the best baseball.

en We felt like they hadn't seen the real North Cobb team. We played as bad as we could in that first game and felt like we could play up to our capabilities tonight. I didn't think we'd shoot like that, though.

en The game of baseball has been my whole life. It's given me everything I have. I didn't think this was better for the game, the growth of the game, I wouldn't be playing. I felt that I owe this to the game. I've made the right decision. I'm very proud to be playing for the USA team. I plan to enjoy it.

en I think it was a good team to come back to. I think we caught them on a back-to-back night. The guys played well defensively. I felt good. Rusty. Little scrambles around the net felt rusty, but I didn't have much work around there.

en We were able to get some stops and get out and run and for whatever reason we just started playing. I don't know if we were playing not to be embarrassed, but something went off in our heads and we played with no fear. I just wanted to get out and run to push the issue because really, that's the only way we had a chance to get back in the game.

en This is not a good situation for either team. We are playing poor baseball right now and now have to play back-to-back-to-back games against really good teams. We just have to live with it, though.

en I don't think there are many teams that have added a free agent like that. We want him and he wants to get back to the way he played three years ago. And I think that's one of the main reasons he felt to let Al keep the captaincy, and that the best thing he could do for the team is getting back to playing the way he can.

en That was the most fun I've ever had in baseball. It was like, I can't wait to play baseball today. The year we had, that's the exception. When I went back up, I almost felt like I was here still.

en I felt like this year's team would be great to coach, a fun team to coach. They would be a team that would play unselfishly, play together. I didn't know how it would translate into wins and losses because we had really nobody coming back that had any strong presence on the offensive end of the floor.

en I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up. en I thought we had a full team effort today, everybody played except for two of our goalkeepers. San Jose was very organized and kept numbers back. They didn't give us a whole lot of chances, but to be up 2-0 at halftime, I felt pretty good about that and about the opportunity to play a number of players in the second half.
