Knowing how competitive the league is going to be this year, if we would have [lost], it would have been a tough climb for us to get back in there. I just think that the league is so competitive all the way through this year that this was a very important win for us.

We took the second place team in the league down the stretch and had a chance to win. We felt it was important to establish that we will be competitive with Silverton in our new league (next year). Last year was our first year in the league and my first year in the league as a head coach. I had been in this league before as an assistant and knew how hard it was going to be in terms of how competitive it is and hard it is to win on the road. I think our kids are better at it after going through it one time. We're more experienced and now that we have Anthony Harris back, I think we're playing better basketball.

We are in very good shape in the league. We should continue to do well in the league. If we win out we will win it, but the league is so competitive this year it won't be easy.

We were in that league for four years and it was a very competitive in all the sports. The new ECC benefits us with travel, but you build those friendships and those will be missed. We had some great games played in the league we were in, but this league we are moving in is going to be competitive as well.

The league is going to be very competitive this year, especially with the new teams. There are a lot of good players and good coaches in this league and it is going to be tough. We already have a lot to overcome so there is much to do to get ready for the season.

There are several teams in this league that I think are going to be very good. And I feel like we're going to be one of the them. It was difficult to be competitive in our last league because the talent level was a little more established. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. I think we can be very competitive in this league.

I would like to qualify for the tournament this year and be strong competitors in the Patriot League.. The Patriot League is a very competitive league so that will be a challenge. Hopefully we get further in the tournament this year then we did last year.

It was a tough loss for us. It's hard to explain. The league is very competitive this year and on any given night almost anyone can win.

We're really close, as are all the teams in our league. It's such a competitive league, every team in Hockey East is a contender. This year, it's going their way.

I said at the start of the year, from top to bottom, this is going to be the most competitive the league has been. I made the statement the league wouldn't be determined until the last weekend, and that's still the case. It seems like anything can happen.

It was a great year. We had 22 kids on the team. It was one of the bigger teams we've had. Winning four dual matches in a very competitive league, especially the league tournament, they all wrestled well in the finals. We have a great group of eighth-graders coming in next year. We have probably nine really solid eighth-graders. This will be one of the better freshman classes. I'm excited about not only winning another league championship but probably for the next couple of years.

Back in the day when we first had the MVC, it was pretty fierce. It was very competitive and kids came in with a competitive edge. When we didn't have the conference, I felt like that was lost. I have seen that return this year (with the reformation of the MVC).

But it's not about the money. It's getting the opportunity to play in a very competitive league and hopefully getting back to a major league organization. And that's my priority.
