en We owed the Saints twofold. They kept us out of the playoffs in last year's final game, so the payback was doubly sweet. If a certain two of our cheerleaders can double their pleasure, why can't we?

en We haven't decided on the (location of the) playoffs yet, but that's where we're going to be, though. We'll get that one a little bit later. We've got time to work that one out. But after yesterday's game (a 23-20 Saints win at Carolina), our goal right now is to be in the playoffs. That's where we're going to be. Like LSU, they had one great game on Saturday. We had one great game on Sunday. And Louisiana now has to show the rest of the world that we've got two great football teams, all right.

en We had a little payback to do from last year. We came into the playoffs with the same record - 21-3 - and we got bumped out in the first round. That was something we haven't focused on, but for everyone who played last year, I think it was in the back of their mind.

en Last year we had one senior, and this year we have six. Last year, we learned a lot from the Southeast game (final season loss) and the players want redemption. Our goal is to win districts and put something together in the playoffs.

en That's definitely my goal for next year, to average a double-double. I know if I can go out there and get a double-double every game, more than likely we're going to win. That's what I'm going to try to do.

en I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. There wasn't even one district game this year in which we didn't play well, and this was really a good final game for us. Hopefully, we'll go into the playoffs with some confidence.

en We've been to the NCAA Tournament the last two years, but we've been one and done. I really think next year, with the talent we have, we could advance to the Sweet 16 and maybe all the way to the Final Four. It could be a real breakthrough year for us.

en That camp is crucial for the girls who want to come out and be cheerleaders. Because this year, right after the camp, we are going to assign teams. Last year, we had 60 girls show up for the camp, but we had 85 cheerleaders. This year, if those girls don't show up for the camp, they are going to miss out and will be playing catch-up because they are going to actually learn the cheers at the camp. So, it is vital that they are there.

en I found [the Sweet 16 questions] funny. I was thinking, 'I'm trying to get to the Final Four.' What's the Sweet 16? That's just one stop on the way.

en This makes it so sweet. I remember talking to Derrick Brooks after the first Tampa game, and he said, 'We'll see you guys in the playoffs.' And I don't think he knew how true that was going to be, that we were going to actually see them in the first wild-card game.
