In practice you can ordsprog

en In practice, you can only simulate so much stuff, ... When you're live, things are different. You can't always drop back, set your feet, and throw the ball. It doesn't happen in this League, not with the way defenses move around and guys play. You've got to be able to move around back there and make people miss and find your guys. I think Stefan does that extremely well.

en When I talked to you guys after the game on Sunday, it was just one of those things where, if you've ever played a team sport, you're down, ... Certainly, I was extremely down. But things get put into perspective. When I get home, I have a little girl and get to spend time with her. It doesn't take away the pain, especially when you watch it on film. But that's the NFL. I don't mean to make light of it but I'll probably throw another one before my career is up. That's just part of it. It's going to happen. I've slept well the last couple of nights. You have to move on. I try to put things behind me. I'm not saying it's not a scar or anything, but you have to learn and move on.

en I've never been a fan of this 'manage the game' stuff. It doesn't make sense to pay guys to make plays, then tell them to go out and not make mistakes. If that's truly your goal, why would you ever have your quarterback drop back and throw a pass?

en A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. Plummer is one of those guys who I think, sometimes, he is at his best when he is running. When he is on the move, he can throw the ball really well running to his left or his right. He is one of those guys who is not good running to just one side. He can do it both ways. He is one of the most accurate quarterbacks at throwing on the move in the league.

en We're going to try to send a few guys in there and try to get in his face so he has to move back in the net. He's challenging a lot of shots right now, staying up in the top of the crease. You get a body in there to try to move him back ... and hopefully things will start to go in.

en You got a guy 6-5 and his arms reach about 11 feet, you just have to give him a chance to make play and go up and take the ball. When you can just drop back there and take like three or four hitches and then throw it about 60 in the air to Randy, what could be better?

en He's got great feet. It's extremely difficult to find guys who can move around and be as versatile as he is.

en We need some guys who make it work. Sometimes you just need guys to catch the ball and move the ball and get out of the way and create spacing and things like that. I haven't seen a lot of that so far, of guys really willing to do that.

en I think the guys played well, they just didn't play well enough to put one in the back of the net. We live and we learn and we move on.

en It's a high risk, flashy offense where you can make a big play, but when you throw the ball a lot bad stuff can happen. Kevin has the hardest job out there with all the reads, but he has a very strong arm and he's really going to flourish. We can spread the ball around to a lot of different guys and we have some backs that can pound the ball inside. We'll see, but it should be fun.

en Penalties are still killing us, especially in the offensive zone. You've got to move your feet. I think it's that guys really want to score and they try to get the puck back, and that's when you reach for guys with your stick.

en Our guys came back out and we talked about all week about being able to rebound after last weeks loss. The guys came back and fought hard. Our defense did a good job the whole game. The offense got off to a slow start, but then came on and were able to move the ball and score some points.

en So from the 2003 season to the 2004 season we cleaned house. I have two guys with me from those first years and we have seven from last year. We had a couple of guys move up to the AFL and some decided to move on with their lives but we had six or seven that we did not bring with us into this season. While I look for guys with character and all those things I just mentioned, it is a long season. Most guys are use to a 10-week season in college and we play sixteen. Some guys taper down towards the end of the season. That was something we couldn't see in guys when we recruited. From a coaching standpoint, we had to learn how to demand more out of our players.

en What it really does [if you're a player] is it gives you an ability to play more. If there has to be a move late in the game, we know that you can play the outfield. Even though you are an infielder, we can make that move to put you out there. The more positions you play, the more opportunity there is to play. And I think these guys know that, and it gives these guys a lot of versatility as far as moves go.
