en I knew we had been struggling with our confidence offensively. I wanted us to get back to that level we were at.

en I was struggling on the greens (early on the back nine) and had lost a little bit of confidence and had a couple three-putts in a row, but I was still right there. I knew if I played my golf that hopefully it would be good enough.

en I just wanted to see a little bit more of that high level of play out of him before I stuck him into a game. Any game was going to be a tough game. This was an especially tough game. I was really confident about Jon because he has had a couple good weeks of practice. I knew his rhythm was back, his timing was back and his focus was back. I was not surprised. I knew he was ready.

en One thing the Warriors can do is score. We knew that. And as much as we wanted to emphasize defense, we knew we had to keep the pace offensively. With that being said, I thought we ran our offense.

en From the spring to now is a whole different level. I have a lot of confidence now in what we're doing. I've never felt so good about what we're doing (offensively) before.

en The conditions again were very tough today. The winds were swirling and it was cold, but our players never gave up. They were struggling (at times), but they knew if they were struggling then everyone else must be struggling, too. They were able to settle down and keep plugging away one shot at a time.

en In a nutshell, offensively we're struggling. The nuts and bolts of what's going on - that's it. We're struggling.

en I knew in the first half we were not playing Sacramento basketball, ... I knew I was struggling, I was forcing too many things. I just kept my composure and like I said, my teammates are always going to have my back.

en We were playing good defense, we're just struggling offensively putting the ball in the basket. This happened last year against Kansas on Senior Night, and we just knew we were going to catch fire, and Britt just got us going.

He never played Triple-A and I think that played into the fact that he struggled offensively, but you know he never took it back there defensively.

en We paid a lot of attention to Newberry and that everything they got offensively they would have to earn late. We wanted to take care of the basketball and be strong with it because we knew they would put us on the line, and that's something we knew we were good at — converting free throws.

en What we also saw today was that some of the kids who have been struggling offensively are starting to come around. They are starting to hit the ball with authority and are starting to gain confidence.

en He has been struggling and he needs to get his confidence back. This is just a short-term thing and it's circumstances more than anything right now. But he needs to get back in a groove.

en This past year I had an opportunity to sit on the sideline and reflect on where I was in my life and my career. You really wonder what the next chapter might hold. I knew the competitive juices were still there. I knew I wanted to get back into baseball. But I wanted to make sure I got back into baseball for the right reasons.

en We knew the offense was struggling a little bit, so we wanted to come out and play the best we could to keep us in the game.
