If I would be 20, maybe I try to put the skates on and try to get one. It's tough, especially when you see they're trying hard. We've got too many guys that don't finish. They have to find a way to get goals.

It's tough. We feel like we're working hard and winning battles, but we aren't able to find the back of the net. We have to find something deep inside and start scoring goals.

Skates and sticks are the most important thing. You take new skates, it takes 10 days to two weeks to break them in. It would be tough.

We just have to pick up our game, finish on our opportunities. It seems like a lot of the young guys are getting chances but not finishing. That's our job to finish and score goals and once we do that it'll take pressure off the older guys.

We weren't clicking on all cylinders. We can't seem to get out of the funk. They're doing their best. We've got four guys (today). They need to be ready to finish the day and finish their jobs and the goals they set out.

We talked the other day and some of our goals are close to the same. We'd like to be fighting for the conference championship. Mount Zion is going to be tough. They won it last year and have everybody back, but we want to be in it until the end. We have a lot of guys to replace, but these guys have been pretty successful in the past and they are working hard.

I think you're always looking for guys, especially in the offensive line, that are just tough, hard-working, fighting guys. His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance. That's what you look for. It's not always the easiest thing to find.

I felt we were pretty dangerous today, and it's hard to score goals in soccer. Their assistant coach [Ian Hennessey] said we should have had five or six goals. But to finish with three is still not bad.

The guys have worked hard to be in this position at the end of the year. We had a tough schedule in December and they pushed themselves to get here. We are a young team and it has worked through some tough times, stuck with it and focused on the end-of-the-year goals.

We played well enough to win again but haven't found the holes on offense in the last two games. It's hard to guess the mindset of our guys right now, because it's tough to lose a game like this. I know they would like to go out with a win and finish on a good note.

It's tough to win when you only score two goals a night. We just need to find a way to find the back of the net.

I try to remind the people it's the only sport played with two artificial limbs. You have a stick in your hands and skates on your feet. ... This is kind of unique because it would be a lot easier to stick-handle if you were on a basketball court with your runners on. Now you're on the ice with skates and it kind of adds to the complexity of how hard it is.

It was a big turnaround from last year. They worked hard. I went to the coaches meeting recently and I sat next to (Brandon coach) Tim (Stone). I said 'I hope we can give you a game' and he said 'Don't feed me that, I just don't want to get in a skating match with you guys.' They said at the meeting when you play Linden you better lace up your skates, because you are going to skate hard for 45 minutes.

We competed hard from start to finish. It came down to Duncan making some tough shots. They hit that lucky 3 from the corner, which was a bad break for us. We hung in and played and gave ourselves a chance till the last minute. It's three losses in a row. There's no moral victories. You have to find a way to win games.

Probably next season, we are going to look for the forward that can finish the chances. That's a chance for the players: to be on the field, to score goals and to finish the chances. And if you're not scoring the goals, what's the solution? You have to bring in somebody that will.
