en Coach Thompson comes to just about every game and those guys who played for him and Coach Baggot talk about how they used to just terrorize teams with their defense. Coach Hicks is here a lot and we talk a lot, and his teams obviously were great defensively. ... That tradition is an advantage we have.

en I don?t you believe you spend a lot of time talking about a specific team as much as you talk about being prepared on a daily basis to play against the best teams. If you develop the habits necessary to do that, all your business is taken care of. You can?t work up for a big game and say, ?I?m going to be different today.? I think our team respects the game. Therefore they respect their opponents.

en Everybody in town is talking about it, No. 1 and No. 2. But I told the kids at practice on Monday we're not talking about it, and we're not going to talk about it until Thursday at 9 p.m. If we're fortunate enough to win this game, then we can talk about it as soon as they want.

en You see it day in and day out. You may even see a little bit more focus and just talk about the little things, the good habits. You look at his play, he's been scoring big goals for us and [killing penalties]. And I think if you're going to talk it, you have to lead it. He's done both.
