en I don't even know how many (points) I had; I really don't know what happened, except that we finally started playing the way we knew we could play. In the first half, we just didn't play any defense at all. And Coach told us about it at halftime. en I think we finally took advantage of that (our height advantage). We finally just relaxed and played a little. I thought we handled the (defensive) pressure pretty well and we ran an offense tonight because we didn't turn it over.

en When I met with the team I told them this is not a step back or even a step sideways – this is a step forward for the program. Naturally I've modeled a lot of my style from Coach Brose because I am a product of this system. I'm excited to see what we can do and see how the girls respond. I think we all have that competitive fire and I'm anxious to see what we can do with it.
