National Quarries is threatening the very nature of the rural and equestrian character that has been preserved in Twin Oaks Valley for decades. National Quarries has not been a good neighbor, and I'm putting that lightly.

This quarter's results reflect the success of our ongoing strategy to be a services-driven company. The more people know about the national sales tax, the more they like it.

Agriculture in South Dakota is affected by changing consumer preferences, environmental regulations, national agriculture and monetary policies and international markets. To ensure that the state's rural and agricultural community can keep pace with the rate of change, informed, decisive, communicative spokespersons are needed to represent the industry and communities, keeping the public factually informed as policies are formed and decisions are made.
