Why the measured slow ordsprog
Why the measured, slow, and wimpy response? Has the editorial board gone vegetarian ?
Jack Shafer
We are doing a systematic review of the editorial history of both papers and our procedures for evaluating them, to search for ways in which we might improve those. I have pointed out in the past that even unusually rigorous peer review of the kind we undertook in this case may fail to detect cases of well-constructed fraud. To support this effort, we are calling on outside experts, including members of our Board of Reviewing Editors and our Senior Editorial Board.
Donald Kennedy
I'm a vegetarian - I think there's a strong possibility, had I not become a vegetarian, I would not be working now. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. I became a vegetarian about 25 years ago, and I did it out of concern for animals. But I immediately began having more energy and feeling better.

The Federal Reserve, with the ink barely dry on its statement of intent to move in a measured pace, has begun a new theme that says 'measured' may be too slow.
Robert Brusca
We are not at all satisfied with Mike Robinson's response and will be taking this up further by writing to the BBC Editorial Complaints Unit.

We're going to have a very universal, very catholic with a small 'c' editorial board,
Zbigniew Brzezinski
When I work, I try to eat as much vegetarian as possible. When I do Cupid, I eat vegetarian because I need the energy. I've got those wings on my back.

I think their response has been very measured.

The first time I met (Kennedy) was when he came to the Post for a meeting with the editorial board. I became sort of entranced with him.

The vision is to create a beautiful day in the mountains. The response from people is that they're absolutely delighted - across the board it's been a remarkable response.

I would bet anything they rue the day they got trapped into these terms like measured, patient. The signals Greenspan and others have given is that measured still the way they want to present their stance. It's now measured with a 'but,' behind it though.
Tom Schlesinger
I would ask for the same measured and calm response from the country that has characterized it since last Thursday,

Only fools argue whether to eat meat or not. They don't understand truth nor do they meditate on it. Who can define what is meat and what is plant? Who knows where the sin lies, being a vegetarian or a non vegetarian?

It will require a measured response on all of our parts if this continues to occur, as it inevitably will,
