When we got bumped up to Class B and somebody else did too, we couldn't be in it anymore. There probably aren't many Class C teams around anymore.

You can't be content riding on the coattails of seniors that aren't there anymore. The run was nice, but these guys were anxious to step in. Even though they're a younger class -- three sophomore starters -- they're out for a completely new season. They're trying to establish a name for this class over the next few years coming up. For the past five years or so, business class has been taking the place of first class. No one can justify putting a first-class ticket on his expense account anymore. No one's willing to pay that much of a premium.

Every football player knows when his time is up. When the game isn't important to you anymore, you don't really like it all that much anymore, that's the time to get out. I got out when it started to be a drudge. I didn't like to practice anymore. It was a much bigger labor than it had been. The things I'd been able to do, I simply couldn't do anymore.

Between 35,000 to 40,000 homes were destroyed. Even the upper-middle class homes look like slums now. You can't differentiate the class areas anymore.

So many of our graduating class, as I call them, you don't hear from anymore.

We know we have a target on our backs. Our schedule will definitely help us. We play three teams that were in the state finals last year - Charlevoix (Class C runner-up), Lansing Christian (Class D champion) and Detroit Country Day (Class B champ). She actually averaged two points per game more against Class AA teams than Class A teams, and 45 percent of our games are against ranked teams. Her consistency is what's unbelievable to me.

The quality of teams in this league is outstanding. It's the best conference in the country. No one is even debating that anymore. We used to say it in recruiting and somebody would say, 'Well, maybe the ACC.' Nobody is questioning it anymore.

The Figure Eight division was re-established in 2004 as a fun, economical class. Points are not tallied to keep the class fun. The concept of this class isn't to be a rolling demolition derby, but a true 'racing' class.

There may be more guys leaving from that sophomore class. And that was a horrible class to begin with. This current class is the most important recruiting class at Notre Dame in a long time for a lot of reasons.

A lot of fans are ho-hum about this class because they see last year's top-10 class and think this class doesn't compare. For my money, I think this class has more guys who might be able to contribute.

This is one of the strongest classes we have ever had, ... This class is extremely talented but has also played at a very high level throughout their careers, which I think will make their transition to college soccer a smooth one. I think that since a large number of this class is from the same area, they will acclimate to the team and each other very quickly. Most of these girls know each other from either playing on the same teams or against one another. Altogether, this is by far the most technically sound class we've had.

Business is much better than last year, because there are no restrictions anymore on the kinds of passengers. All flights are full in economy, and there are only some seats left in first class.
