en We've got a lot of options now. The weather's better in Western New York now, so we may train there. We'll take 10 days off and then decide where we're going from there.

en We will see seasonable weather for the next couple days. On Wednesday and Thursday it will be a bit colder. Once we get to Friday and the weekend some of the warmth from the western U.S. will come eastward and we'll see highs in the low to mid 40s in New York and Boston.

en We are deeply disappointed in the arbitrator's ruling on New York City Transit's expansion of one-person train operation to the L line on nights and weekends. Although the union argued that the program was unsafe, the arbitrator based the decision on an overly technical reading of a 1994 contract, not safety. We will be reviewing our options over the next few days.

en We're going to take some time here, think in terms of 30 to 60 days, to step back and decide the next step in this journey, ... There's interest among others for various forms of transactions. So we'll have options. We just haven't decided yet what makes the most sense for GM. In 30 to 60 days we'll be ready to try again with something that we expect will work this time.

en The goal for these two weeks is to bring the group together and to train hard. The guys have already started to come together in the first few days of training in New York and our time down here will certainly accelerate the process.

en We live in Seattle. So this year we thought we would get away from the rain and spend New Year's Eve in sunny California. en Being from the area, I know the feeling of being disconnected from New York, not realizing how short the train ride is away. After living in Rome, I decided I needed to come back and really focus on New York, that I hadn't even explored my own cultural resource.

en We were in control in the first few days with our batting and that's how we wanted to stay, ...
