It will be a great rivalry, but it's not Hasim from Rochester and Joe from Buffalo. Joe owns all of western New York, and we're willing to fight over it.

My first season at Buffalo, Geoff was at Rochester and I would come down from Buffalo to visit him all the time. It was 50 minutes away. I'd drive up and we'd go to dinner.

It's a local rivalry, a big rivalry and our team has a tremendous amount of respect for Western. Our guys and Western, no matter how you look at it, it's a one-goal game. It truly is a throw-the-records-out kind of game.

The rivalry's great for the fans and most of the alumni, but we're just out there to take care of business. We never try to get too mixed up into the rivalry because if you get too much into it, that could probably lead into a fight or something on the court. That's something neither team wants.

We did it in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.

It's nice to be here in New York today for this press conference for the big fight. And I think this fight will be very interesting for the audience. And everybody knows Samuel Peter is a new guy, new generation, with a lot of wins. And he was a nightmare for last 24 fighters. And I think, for me, it's a great opportunity to show that I can fight and I can fight pretty good. And I think also that we could talk a lot, but not there...we will see in the ring of September 24 in Atlantic City. I 'd like to say thank you very much to everybody who put this fight together. He is a person who understands football and he understands the importance of football to small markets like Buffalo and western New York.

Every year it is traditionally a great rivalry. We are playing for second in the conference with Rochester. This is a big game for us. It will help us build momentum for the sectional because it will be a sectional type atmosphere.

Anytime Buffalo and Rochester meet each other it's always a battle. It'll be a game both teams really want.

If they (Mayorga-Piccirillo fight last Saturday) did more than 50,000 (pay per view buys), you got to believe Hasim Rahman-Monte Barrett did most of that.

I can tell you that he really stepped up to community responsibility at a time that Rochester really needed a publisher to not just be in Rochester but to be of Rochester.

I would say now it's next to impossible for us to make the playoffs. Even if we won the rest of our games, everything would have to fall absolutely perfect with Buffalo and Rochester for us to have a prayer.

I've kept my Charlotte jersey, there aren't too many of them around, plus the ball from my first goal. I've gone from one end of the spectrum to the other and it's made me appreciate how special it is to play for quality organizations, like Rochester and Buffalo.

Toronto focus group participants told us they love to shop in Buffalo. They described Buffalo as affordable, accessible and offering great product variety. This promotion confirms what our research suggested - that Buffalo is a very attractive short break and shopping destination for the Ontario market.

This is the hotbed of (high school) cross country running in the United States. Western New York has great distance running tradition, but we're gonna recruit the best kids in the state of New York and the best in the nation. We're not going to just be a regional program.
