en The Salem Civic Center is just a great environment. You get to compete with the best wrestlers in the state. There will be a lot of people there and it will be loud. It will be nerve wracking but it will be fun.

en It's more nerve-wracking to watch than play, even at the trials. Watching is scary. When you compete you have some sort of control over the situation, or at least you think you do.

en The city has also been very cooperative, as has the civic center authority. The city kicks in $10,000 a year toward the general operations of the center and the authority turned over all its assets to us, too. We all have a vested interest in seeing our civic center stay open. It's a good facility. We want people to use it and hope it stays that way.

en It's very nerve-wracking when you know you're a great team and you have to win a playoff to go, but it just gives us another test before we go to state. I love having a home game in the playoffs. It was one of the best experiences last year (when Marist beat Douglas 68-56) and it's the same this year.

en We competed once before at the RBC Center and it was beautiful and we had a great time. It is more work in setting it up and such, but it is worth it cause we get the video highlights of routines and just get to go out and compete somewhere else. Everybody at NC State does such a great job in preparing for our regular meets in Reynolds, and I'm sure everybody will be just as excited to pull off a great meet at the RBC Center.

en It's always a little nerve-wracking to come back here, but it's fun. There were a lot of great memories. We started something here and they took it to the next step when they made the playoffs two years ago. That's great.

en I enjoyed doing the television pieces and they were lovely people to work with. It was a bit nerve-wracking but I made it in the end. Various rural groups have asked me to go along and talk to them but that's not really for me.
