en They want to have a big movie star in that role. I'm sure a lot of other people were considered. He wouldn't be anybody's first thought. People forget that he has musical-comedy chops. He comes from musical theater, from Broadway. That's where he began, and so he has a sense of that style. It certainly is a great big acting leap for him. It's going to be interesting to see how he does it.

en They pay attention to news releases from companies and follow game series the way you might go see a sequel of a movie you liked or buy a new book in a series just because it's in that series.

en And I always had people telling me, 'You can't do this. You're from Long Island, how do you expect to be on Broadway? You can't go into the city and be on Broadway.' What do you mean? It's an hour away! Of course I can be on Broadway someday.'

en What's more New York than the great white way, which is Broadway. Broadway without being ablaze with light would not be Broadway.

en I feel a women's role has got to be a gentle role and perhaps if we can do it correctly, the men would like to follow us, or walk beside us. Not to follow -- but walk beside.

en We don't get to do a lot of straight plays or Broadway shows here, and this is a true classic. We don't know how long (Holbrook) will continue to perform the show, so we're really fortunate to have him here.
