It's going to be another solid year, and I think the market will grow because we've got so much going on on the economic side. San Antonio is to me the best housing market in the state.

These are the best of times for the San Antonio housing market. We are on the threshold of our best economy ever, and that, in turn, is the primary reason for grand expectations for our housing market over the next couple of years. San Antonio is turning into a big city and all the greatness that goes along with it.

The market needed one economic number to put the bear market drop to bed. We got three; Employment, leading economic indicators and housing. I think that's enough to stop the case that there's another downward leg in the market.

What the market is telling us is that's it's discounting solid economic growth over the next quarter, ... I think [the market] can over the next month or so approach the highs we hit last year.

Looking ahead, 2006 and 2007 should be strong on the economic side, and the housing market should be, too.

Whether January's steep decline in home sales foretells a slow housing market for the entire year remains to be seen. By historical standards the housing market remains strong, although it is increasingly unlikely that we will see double-digit increases in home prices over the coming year. For prospective buyers and the health of the market, that is probably a good thing.

The key message is housing market activity has improved significantly into the second half of this year and confirms the downside risks to growth from the housing market are vanishing.

The fact that the market has been able to sustain a record—breaking sales pace during the first eight months of the year is ample proof that the American dream of homeownership is alive and well in the Buckeye State. Housing continues to be a true bright spot in the overall economic picture.

This really underscores that just because there's a booming housing market, it doesn't translate into strong economic growth. It suggests that consumption spending has a built-in speed limit to it. You just can't expect to grow very fast.

Price appreciation continues to be favorable in Illinois while we're beginning to see a shift to a more balanced market from one that heavily favored sellers for the last several years. We are predicting a solid year for Illinois. Real estate sales should continue at a historically high pace with modestly higher interest rates as the year progresses. Strong demand fundamentals remain in place for the Illinois housing market.

The market is much stronger now. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. From an employment standpoint it's growing in a number of different areas, not just high tech. The growth rate is slower and, in my opinion, more sustainable, and the housing market is on very solid footing.

This year has really been a small- and mid-cap market, particularly on the value side. I think 2005 will be a shift to larger companies, and more of a growth market from a value market.

Higher borrowing costs will lead to a shrinking housing market and a slowdown in the U.S. economy. Overseas investors, being concerned about the U.S. economic outlook, will pull their money out of the Japanese market.
