en Sometimes, if you don't fit properly on defense, you're going to have plays go against you. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. And there are sometimes some pretty good players on the other team. Vick is a heck of a player.

en He is an impressive-looking kid. He handles himself very well and looks pretty good on tape. You don't win the Lombardi Award by not being a good player. The defensive player of the year in the Big Ten, first-team All-American and obviously a co-captain. He is the leader of their defense. He is a really good player. He is physical and can run. He shows up on a whole bunch of plays.

en The plays were good plays, and I think we prepared properly. But really it's about the players making plays and making the catch and blocking. And when they do that, you look pretty good as a signal-caller.

en Vick is different than every other quarterback we've faced. Vick is one guy and of course, you've got to contain him, but they've got a lot of other good players on that team. We're not going to game-plan for one guy.

en Michael Vick, I'd rather watch him. Getting the 'Michael Vick Experience' in the preseason, the second preseason game, that wouldn't be high on my wish list. But we're going to get out there, fly around, have a good time and make some plays on defense.

en I think it's a mix of a lot of things. Obviously we have good players. Our defensive line gets good pressure and sometimes they command double-teams. That frees space up for other players to make plays. It's just good team defense.

en Dale is a great player. He is one of those guys that always makes plays. When we are in the film room, we are always watching him. Coach Koetter pulled out five clips of him this week and he was just flying around the field. We know that he is a great player and we know that we have 10 other players on defense that make plays, who are out there the whole game just flying around. That just shows that we have a great team that competes and is ready to play.

en He's an athlete that can extend plays and make something out of nothing ... so he's definitely a player you always have to be aware of. But we can't just go in there being in awe over Vick and forget about their other positions, because they have a solid offensive team.

en She's a great addition to the team. With her transfer, we may not skip a beat. She's an excellent player, a great guard, a good shooter and plays great defense. That's pretty good. It'll help us be really competitive again. Whether or not we can make it that far [again] is yet to be seen. But we'll definitely be very competitive.

en If you're going to walk around and have everybody say you're the best player on our team and the most talented player on our team, then the expectation for you is pretty high. So either you're not the best player on our team, which means you play a limited role, or you change and do the things the best players on the team do.

en Robert Morris is one of the most talented teams in this league. They are so strong one through five and are so explosive. They have so many players who can score. They are a pretty explosive team. (Coach) Mark (Schmidt) is so good at designing plays to get the right player the right shot at the right time.

en This bunch plays a lot harder than last year, and they are much more mature and prepared. It just seems like they click a lot more on offense this year. And they move well on defense, and their post players are sealing better. Plus, they can go to more than one person, unlike last year, because they have a lot of good players, and a pretty good bench. After a while, I just think they wear you down.

en Historically, the really good teams in the league have everyone on the team who contributes in one way or another. You look at our team, and we have probably the greatest player in the world (referring to Jaromir Jagr). But we also have a lot of really good role players. The guys who score points are going to get a lot more of the accolades. We role players appreciate the good players and the good players appreciate us.

en He's by far the most valuable player of this team. We have a young end to our defense. He's a great role model for the guys. When he was called up, those two games he missed, it was a grind without him. He plays a lot of minutes and plays them to a 'T.' He's invaluable to this team.

en I think he is one of the best players in the area. It is a test for anyone to guard him. Anyone who goes D-I or D-II, you have to step up because you know that player is pretty good. Anyone who guards him will probably get better because his skills are higher than most of the people he plays against.
