Overall we saw some good things and some bad things, just like you do every scrimmage, ... The good thing is that I feel like we're farther along at this point than we've been in the past, mainly because we have a better understanding of our base offense and defense. The players are comfortable with what we're trying to do, so now we just have to try to make sure everyone is healthy and ready to go against Florida.

The good signs were on defense. We did some things on defense that we can build on. We feel the defense can make an impact now where in the past we didn't feel that way.

They do a lot of good things on offense with a lot of talented players. On defense, they really come after you. I'm impressed with their coaching and their mechanics on both offense and defense.

It's going pretty good. Right now my biggest thing is learning the plays and getting everything down. As far as everything else I'm in pretty good shape. I don't feel pressure. As soon as I grasp things, I'll be more comfortable and be able to do my things.

I felt pretty good. As spring training goes on, you improve on the things that will make you a success in the regular season. Today, I did a few things right and a few things I feel like I can improve on. I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. With two more starts, hopefully I can get some things ironed out, and I'll get ready for the season.

That is the good news. The bad news is that there are a lot of things that he has to perfect technique-wise to be able to utilize all of those things. We'll see how it all comes together. We'll have to decide exactly what the best way try to use him is and also how that works in with the other skill players that we have on offense and how the whole thing meshes together. It is a long process, but he is a good guy to work with.

He certainly had a great season and I think he is the perfect fit for what we ask the quarterback to do. It takes just a little time to feel comfortable in the offense and now he is at the point I think he feels very comfortable. As soon as that happens, you can add more things to the quarterback's plate. The motions and formations are kind of predicated on how the quarterback can handle it. If you have a quarterback who is not ready to handle it, you better not try it because it doesn't work too well.

Mike Holmgren (1948-)

I think it's a mix of a lot of things. Obviously we have good players. Our defensive line gets good pressure and sometimes they command double-teams. That frees space up for other players to make plays. It's just good team defense.

He steps into that situation understanding offense, understanding defense, understanding players. Another thing is ... he understands the unique coaching requirements of single-A.

Marshall Overley

From our point of view, he's very poised. He has very good vision. He's very comfortable with the offense, and he looks like a relaxed player out there. He makes a lot of plays and doesn't seem to hurry things. He executes the offense like a very confident, experienced quarterback would do.

Things finally got to that point where I feel comfortable with what we're doing with our plays. Our receivers have a great feel for our offense now and know the timing of the routes. ... So we're getting there.

We need to get better. We've had five losses, and we've had the same things come up. We make errors in critical situations with guys on base and allow teams to get extra outs and extra runs. The nice thing today was that our offense was good. I know that we're getting there and we're getting better.

Pat loves Miami. He's not afraid to say it. But he knows he has a job to do for Kansas City. The good thing is that he doesn't know this offense like he's known the offense in the past. We really want to look out for Pat in that area, but Pat's going to play hard. I know he'll be ready. He'll be ready to hit, try to get some picks.

Coach [Al] Saunders has been with Kansas City and put up amazing numbers [on offense]. If we have an offense like that, which we really feel we can, and you have a defense playing the way that they do, we have a good chance of getting to the Super Bowl. Those were the biggest things.

Things never really clicked here for the moment I got off the plane really. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. Seemed like I was on the back foot all weekend and things never came good to be honest. In the race I had a good battle with a few guys and went back and forth with Barros a few times then I overshot at the end of the straightaway and lost a few places. I feel I let my boys down here and don't feel good about it. I just want to make sure we come out of the gate fast in Sepang next week and put things straight.
