I was holding on to a woman and her child under an overpass as the tornado went over us. My pager went up in the tornado as it passed through. It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen.

I wish (Thursday) that we had a tornado warning out ahead of this tornado, but we didn't. It was a very small tornado, quickly spun up.

This tornado occurred at 2 o'clock in the morning, one of the most dangerous times that a tornado can occur. People are not watching TV, it is dark outside, you can't see the tornado. Most are asleep at that hour.

All we want them to know is something's happening, go turn on the TV. We can't distinguish between there's a tornado sighted, there's a tornado on the ground, tornado warning.

I have not yet confirmed with anyone that they saw an actual tornado. They saw a pretty definite signature in their radar. They saw some rotation, but it's premature to say it was a tornado.

In my case, Sunday, I didn't know that a tornado was coming because I was watching Spanish TV. We need to make sure we stay in cover for a period of time. It's changed so that now we'll be in a tornado watch and even a tornado warning for longer, so people need to pay attention to broadcasts.

At first, I thought it was, because I knew it was a little cloudy out here, I thought it might have been a tornado or something. Then I looked again and I realized that it wasn't a tornado, then I came outside and saw the smoke coming from the wooded area.

The radar showed a signature of a tornado. There's a certain pattern on the radar that points to the existence of a tornado. It's usually pretty accurate.

Tornado warning sirens were blaring, young kids were scared and we were wondering where we would be sleeping for the night. A (tornado warning) was issued ... and all of the kids started lining the first floor hallway (of the hotel) to get away from the windows in the lobby. We were told I-65 around Nashville was closed.

This is where I was actually standing when the tornado came over and you can see where it passed by and hit this water tower and see if you can notice how it knocked the paint off the water tower; that was freshly painted. Three tornadoes that came within 10-minutes of each other and I'm guessing time.

To put it in perspective, this tornado today or this series of tornadoes will probably rank equal to all of the tornadoes that we had in the entire year last year, ... So that will give you some perspective of just what an incredible disaster this has been for our state.
