I think he has some kind of problem, because he didn't move as well as he usually (does). But I definitely played a really good match.

We did a good job of getting guys on. The thing we didn't do today is we didn't finish it up. Early on this year, that's kind of been a problem that we've had. When we've drove in runs, we've played pretty well. Today, we just didn't get that run in.

They played more physical than a lot of teams we've played lately, and we didn't make the adjustment. The refs kind of let us play, which I have no problem with, but we didn't adjust the way we should have.

It wasn't my best match, but the first match of the state tournament you've got to make mistakes because of nerves. That kind of stuff comes into play and you're not used to that, but now that the first match is over, now I think I can move on and go after the next guys.

We did a lot of good things today. The problem is, we have to do that against all teams. The girls played well and did a good job. We didn't have any errors. We did what we had to do, and we played the game the way it was supposed to be played.

It was a pretty good first-round match. He played the big points well, that's why he won. I played good, I just didn't have any chances.

We played really great all day. We kind of let that last match slip away from us, but I'm not disappointed. We didn't really know what to expect going into this.

Well, I didn't do too bad the tournaments after that, ... But I felt like I played well that match. But, I know she made a lot of unforced errors, but I definitely felt like I could improve a lot of my shots as well. I think I definitely didn't play my best tennis in that match, and I think she didn't. I know she didn't. So, it's give and take.

They played hard and they played with a certain sense of emotion and perhaps at the be-ginning we didn't match it. They were hungry for that win. When you coach a team that didn't have a good season in the previous year and you're hungry for that win, sometimes that's tough to beat.

We saved our best for last. That match didn't start until 11 p.m., so it was a long day and it was pretty late when we got out of there. The kids did a nice job with focus. It was late, they played three times, we played for 11 hours and they had prom the next day, so there were a lot of distractions there and we didn't let them bother us. That was good to see.

They played better defense, and they blocked better than we did. We didn't get into our offense enough, but it was a good match, and I knew it would be tough when they played us well at our tournament.

I'll never know. After that I think she picked up her game a little bit. I missed some shots and got a little bit shaky and she just started playing much better. There were a lot of close games that I didn't win. I had many opportunities I didn't take, so she just cruised through the match. But I think she played really good. It just didn't come for me today.

I played a very good match. I tried to play my game. I guess he didn't play a great match and I played great. So when this happens, anything can happen.

I was kind of tired and I didn't warm up that good before the first match. I got a much better warm-up in before this last match and I wrestled a lot better.

She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. I thought we played an excellent first half. We came out with intensity, played good defense and moved the ball. In the second half, it was just the opposite. We just didn't match their intensity. They turned it up and we didn't respond.
