We've got to find ordsprog

en We've got to find a way to get up on teams, stay up on them, not get too excited and put them away.

en The game (Thursday) could have gone either way. With that, there's some disappointment, but we'll pick it back up ... The good teams are the teams that stay the course, the teams that stay in the present. That's our focus right now.

en We have pretty good players, All-Stars. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams have been through this, good teams -- the Yankees early in the season. But they find a way to get better, to turn everything the other way. With that kind of team, the big thing is concentration.

en It's our teams getting excited and meeting our goals. We know that hopefully in our lifetime we'll find a cure for this.

en Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I've only been around when they play here. It's tough for me to say how they do on the road. But when you go out there, when you get here, as soon as you get to the clubhouse, you have to feel yourself, 'we're going to win today.' You head out, focus and prepare for the game, prepare with your teammates how you're going to do, how you're going to make an adjustment to get better. I don't think we've got that kind of players over here. We've got pretty good players that can be All-Stars. We've got Pudge (Ivan Rodriguez), all those guys. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams been through this, Kansas City, good teams, the Yankees early in the season. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation.

en I'm really excited, I'm really excited. I feel like it's coming together. It's very helpful, just to come to one place and find so many options. If you have questions about anything, you're going to find somebody here to answer them.

en Once we find the snared animal, we immobilize them right away so they don't get too excited or stressed out. Then we stay with the animal until the drug wears off.

en Both teams know that. Both teams know this is one of those kinds of games that's probably going to expose weaknesses. You want to find out where you're not good, so you find out problems before you get into district play.

en We have to depend on ourselves to stay in our gaps. That will be a point of emphasis. We want to make sure everyone sticks to their responsibilities. We've been up and down as a team in that sense. And good teams will find the holes if you give them to them.

en This kid is destined for greatness. If they stay with him, and he's on teams that get him to the playoffs, he's the next Mariano Rivera , without a doubt. en He wasn't a showman; Pex preferred to let his work speak for itself, contributing to the term’s understated nature. en Teams that use the squad-size adjustment to escape penalty rather than improve their academic practices right away might find the 'pay-me-later' syndrome hard to accept. As more years of APR data become available, teams will find scores harder to change.
