en It's very choppy. Friday looked like it was the end of the world, Toronto was down a 150-odd points, and we've gained it all back today. The market continues to be very volatile, and it's testing people. On balance, people are nervous, you don't want to do anything terribly audacious.

en People are still nervous and very cautious. I do not think that we have seen a bottom yet, and if that is the case, I think the Toronto market can go lower,

en There's a possibility that we may have a very volatile market a very choppy market over the next few weeks. The evidence is growing that the rally (of late April) was just an oversold bounce.

en What you're seeing in the broader market is people pulling back, taking a wait-and-see attitude. Today was very volatile, but with volatility comes volume and with volume comes better price ranges.

en The market will remain volatile as we get through this results period. The problem is that investors are not believing the earnings element of that ratio. They don't trust it at the moment. That reason is going to contribute to this choppy market.

en They are going to gain market share but would have gained even more if they had lowered their price points. They're adding things that people want that other PCs aren't adding. That is going to be a catalyst for people to switch over.

en We're all waiting. For what, I don't know. My sense is the market is quiet, people are a little nervous, they want to see if oil continues to go through the roof.

en I think the market has had an unbelievable run over the past seven days and what you see is profit taking. What's driving the market today (Friday) is what people are doing in the cash market, so it's not options expiration.

en (The market is) very quiet, choppy, very, very volatile. There are a number of players that have already exited ahead of Christmas. In consequence, very little is going on so it doesn't take much to move the stock either way, up or down.

en It's the same-old, same-old. We can't guard anybody. We don't do a good job of getting back. [The Celtics] got 33 points on the fast break, and it looked like they could have had 100. It's almost like people script plays against us. We gave up 40 points in the first quarter, and that just sets the tone.
