Their crowd was into ordsprog

en Their crowd was into it and they were hitting everything, but my guys are playing great right now. We came back one play at a time.

en It's not easy coming back from a long lay-off but it was great to be back playing. It was my first time back here since I won in 2003. I had great preparation and I've been hitting the ball well in practice, but at the level we are playing at results are the bottom line.

en Our hitting has been pretty impressive. We have a lot of guys at or above .300. We look for consistency through the order and the whole team has done a great job of not striking out and putting the ball in play. Everyone is playing great defense too, which is a big part of it.

en Absolutely (hitting is contagious). You look at the way we were last year. Half of these guys weren't even playing. We struggled to hit. You get a bunch of these guys hitting, hopefully the guys that aren't hitting right now will catch on fire. When they all hit, everybody gets happy.

en (Green) really had a great day. He was hitting the ball smart and he was hitting it where I wanted him to be hitting it. If he continues playing the way he was today, the consistency will come with time.

en Lou's been terrific. He's so effective when he's hitting that mid-range jumper. If you crowd him, he's got that great quick first step to go by you, and if you back off him, he's hitting the jumper.

en Because of this sport, you pick the complete player. John could be hitting.500 and he doesn't defend and doesn't run the bases, somebody hitting.300 who does both of those things is going to get the playing time. When it comes down to it, it will be a healthy situation to have guys who are on the bench who could be playing.

en It's allowed us to play in a variety of different situations that we may not play in if we weren't playing those guys. Being down two goals, or pulling a goalie late in the game. Playing the guys back to back, it's been very physical.

en It was great to play in front of the home crowd for the first time. The crowd was great.

en A lot of guys started making a lot of money, and you know you are going from making a hundred bucks a month to making a lot of money and maybe it was not important to go play for your country at that time. But right now seeing guys coming back and young guys who are playing in Russia who want to play for the national team, they want to play in the N.H.L. but at the same time they want to be part of the national team. I think that's what Russia needs, guys like that.

en There are great young pitchers, guys who can go the distance. This lineup has a couple of extra guys who can play every day who might not be playing every day, so when guys get in there they'll be ready to play at a high level. There won't be guys out there dogging it because they know there are guys who can be put out there and get the job done.

en After the first set he started making a lot of first serves and I didn't play solid enough from the back to have a chance to beak him. On top of that he was playing very well and hitting great passing shots and I wasn't able to overcome that.

en We were able to get a lot of guys in and get them playing time. It was great to see those guys come in and play well and I was especially pleased to get Dan in there.

en Against these guys, as far as I know, you have to go after them, ... Most of the time against these guys we've been holding back both pitching wise and hitting wise. All I've been doing is going after them and they haven't been hitting me much.

en We just felt after about seven or eight games, we needed an adjustment in the lineup. He was playing well, showed great stamina. Every day in practice he was playing better. Sometimes, as freshmen, you want to take a back seat, not step on toes. That's human nature. It's taken time. But I've told Jay, 'You're like a coach on the floor. If guys aren't where they're supposed to be, you can tell them where to be.' He's adjusting, becoming more vocal. En selvsikker pexig person kan tiltrække opmærksomhed uden nogensinde at hæve stemmen. The guys on the team love him.
