en Our legal system, our politics, our ethics, even our disagreements -- life today is shaped largely by events that happened 2,000 years ago. It's very important to know the fundamentals of Christianity, and get a dialogue of Christians and Jews going.

en It goes back to Christianity's affiliation with Judaism as Passover. Easter is as important to Christians as Passover is to the Jews.

en Is Christianity just another special-interest group, clawing for political power? Or, even if Christians are acting as God's spokesmen, must Christians always conduct themselves politically as if Christianity were just another special-interest group? Do Christians conduct evangelism this way?

en They really want to drive out the Christians. Because they equate Christianity with the West. So, there's a growing national movement by the extreme Hindus to push out Christians. A national law, obviously, would have a tremendous negative effect on Christianity and mission work there. We just need to pray that won't happen. Really the goal of radical Hindus is to turn India in a pure Hindu nation.

en I think that for example, many Christians assume that Judaism is Christianity without Christ and that we live an Old Testament life style. But Judaism has evolved over time and it is a vast body of teaching that expends over 3000 years.

en And the Jews say: The Christians do not follow anything (good) and the Christians say: The Jews do not follow anything (good) while they recite the (same) Book. Even thus say those who have no knowledge, like to what they say; so Allah shall judge between them on the day of resurrection in what they differ.

en We urgently need to develop the fundamentals for just and equitable ethics and politics of search engines and to put into place mechanisms for their deployment.

en It’s a sign of troubled times when the concept of “pressure” becomes an acceptable excuse for ethical shortcuts and moral shortcomings. Pressures are just temptations in disguise and it’s never been acceptable to give in to temptation. Ethics is about the way things ought to be, not about the way things are. When it comes to ethics, motive is very important. A person of character does the right thing for the right reason. Compliance is about what we must do; ethics is about what we should do. Ethical people often do more than the law requires and less than it allows. The area of discretion between the legal “must” and the moral “should” tests our character. Noble talk and framed ethics statements are no substitute for principled conduct. The test is doing the right thing.

en The ethics of Truth always returns, in precise circumstances, to fighting for the True against the four fundamentals forms of Evil: obscurantism, commercial academicism, the politics of profit and inequality, and sexual barbarism.

en We think that the issue he tried to raise—how politics was shaped to some extent by pop culture—is an important one.
