If they have considerable self-employment income, they can set up a Keogh or SEP IRA to shelter some of the income from taxes.

en We have two kinds of employment: one with decent pay and benefits - and another of part-time pay with full-time hours, at a wage that can't nearly support a healthy family. We have two kinds of healthcare: one where people have access and insurance - and another where basic care and life-saving treatments, come at a price beyond reach.

en At times when people cut back media expenditures, they're not cutting everybody back, they're cutting the tertiary and secondary buys out. They tend to consolidate into their big players and the people who really give them the horsepower. The good news is, this company has got those kinds of TV networks, those kinds of magazines.

en It's clear that income makes people happier. That's strongest for the lower levels of income.

en It's absolutely a low-income and minority problem. We saw a lot of disease in high-income people too, but if you don't have the insurance to go to the dentist, or if you have public insurance but the reimbursement rates are so low the dentists won't accept you, then some of those parents might not take their children at all.

en We give money to children and young unmarried people. It goes from the higher generation to the lower one - you wouldn't give money to your parents, for example. People also exchange gifts. It could be anything - people spend a lot of money.

en We're very concerned about it, especially concerned for lower-income Americans and small business people. This is not part of their budget.

en There are three kinds of people: White people, Colored people, and Black people.

en It's also important for ministers to have these kinds of networks, alliances and support groups. It's valuable and it's also a good way to know what's going on in the community.
