People have used the argument-not a scientific argument but a political argument-that we don't need to do human embryonic stem cell research because, after all, mature or adult stem cells will do everything. Doug's paper says that's not exactly correct.

It's not as if this research says there is no need for embryonic stem cells. It continues to show the enormous potential of stem-cell research and highlights the value of embryonic stem cells as a source of research material.

So far we could not find any stem cells regarding Dr. Hwang's 2005 paper that genetically match the DNA of patients. Dr. Hwang's team doesn't have scientific data to prove that it has produced such stem cells.
