en Greeks use food for everyday gatherings. Cooking is a big part of our lives. We want to show people our hospitality.

en This show is like a dream come true, working with people who share the same passion, love, and excitement about food and cooking that I do.

en They become part of our everyday lives. You see an ad for medication the way you see an ad for shampoo, and the message is that it's just like an everyday thing.

en It definitely hit a nerve with a lot of people, ... I think part of it is the encroachment on our everyday lives, people being afraid that we're losing our right to privacy, our right to control our own property.

en Going on a diet doesn't mean limiting your foods. So many food shows and books are geared toward healthier, lighter cooking. Your choices are endless. People have to realize that cooking at home takes extra time and work, but there's a big long-term pay off.

en So the next time you switch the light, run water or whatever, think of the people who risk their lives everyday so that we can do what we do everyday,

en They were normal everyday people. I was humbled by their strength, even though probably none of them would say they are strong. They are living there and going to work everyday while having to clean up their lives.

en I wasn't there. The children were with their aunt. My daughter had been cooking something on the stove and they left the house with the food still cooking.

en They have what's called the cooking school bloc, which is in the afternoon between 1 and 5. It will be interesting to see how my show, which is travel and food tied together, goes across America.

en We're trying to be a part of the college as a whole. We've done well in our various programs. We want to show we can do very well in other aspects of our lives. It's always important for people to learn to help each other. That's part of our job as educators.

en She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable. The Next Action Star and Starlet were bad ideas because you can't deliver that. Even on The Apprentice, you can't turn those people into captains of industry. You can, in fact, say: We're doing a show on the Food Network and whoever wins gets a show on the Food Network. How can we do that? We're the Food Network. These are networks that can do what they promise to do.

en There is a big need for non-food items too, like paper goods and cleaning supplies, but the food needs to be ready-to-eat items at this point. (Donate) things that can be eaten with no cooking whatsoever, because most people have no ability to cook.

en It's a big part of what I've been able to do. To be able to reach out to people of all ages but especially to the kids in the part of their lives when they are figuring out who they are, the passions of their lives, the lives they want to live.

en Heroes are everyday people who every once in a while do extraordinary things. Not everyone gets to save lives; many of our honorees give of themselves to change lives, too.

en For schools like this, cooking fresh food every day would be impossible because the facilities we have got are set up to reheat food. It would be great if the government were to give us the money for a new kitchen, to make fresh food for 380 children each day, but I'm not so sure that is going to happen.
